Juncus effusus

Description

Very erect, dark green stems and brown seed heads.  Clumps will spread by creeping rhizomes.

Position:  Sun, semi shade,

Flowering:    June to August

Height Above Water:  30 – 60cm

Height Below Water:  0-15cm

Evergreen – Trim in early Spring to encourage new growth 

Even native plants placed in the wrong location can cause environmental damage
