Description

Reed Sweet Grass (Glyceria Maxima) is a native, marginal, shallow water plant with bright green, narrow, strap like leaves. A robust perennial aquatic grass.

Position:  Sun, Part Shade

Flowering:      August to September

Height Above Water:  30-60 cm

Height below Water: 0-20cm

Little maintenance is required. Trim to tidy as required and after foliage has died back in autumn.

Even native plants placed in the wrong location can cause environmental damage
